Hub Two - Port Triggering

Hello.

I am trying to setup Port Triggering on my Hub Two router - the following link refers (I have 2 synology nas drives on my home network and am trying to configure access per this article).

https://mariushosting.com/can-i-use-two-synology-me-ddns-services-on-two-different-nas-at-home/

I can't find the Port Trigger settings (does the router even have this?) - I know how to forward ports.

Any help appreciated.

Re: Hub Two - Port Triggering

@n1njaznutz welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately for you the Hub two does not have the ability to setup port triggering, you'll need to purchase one that does.

The Hub two can be configured to 'Bridge mode' so you could buy a router only device which might be cheaper than a combined xDSL Modem/Router device.

If it helps you can purchase a static IP Address from plusnet for a one off payment of £5.00.

@Dan_the_Van  does the Hub Two have the capability to setup a VPN server ?

I'm wondering whether @n1njaznutz could VPN into their home network to access the NAS ?

@Anonymous

The Hub two does not have a VPN Server, in fact anything handy for the more technically able user is not available.

I use a raspberry pi as a VPN server for access to my home network.
