Hub Two - upgrading from Broadband to Fibre

Hi,
I'm upgrading from standard (copper) broadband to fibre (FTTC). My fibre service is due to go active as of late next week. Do I need to wait until activation to plug in my new Hub Two (my current router is a Hub Zero) or can I plug it in immediately?

The Hub2 will work on ADSL/FTTC/FTTP, so you can plug it in now.

If you plug it in now it will work on ADSL

 On the changeover day if it doesn’t switch over automatically just factory reset it by pushing a paperclip or similar in the reset hole. Keep the switch closed until you get a green light.
