Hi I’m having a issue with my hub. If i move it or touch the wires or the cat goes near it I lose connection and it can take ages to reconnect. This is becoming a problem for me now.

Are you using a direct cable between the hub and you telephone socket? i.e not relying on extensions etc?
It would also be useful to know whether or not you are plugged into your master socket?
What makes you think it's the router at fault, and not one of the cables, or the telephone socket?
