To confirm the issue is with the cables connected (DSL and LAN) the Hub One powers up and the Power light flashes ' Orange and no further light come on or something else? The 'b' light condition is important.
Provided you haven't factory reset the device since last trying to connect, can you share the log file please?
The WAN log might be the most appropriate here, navigate from the home page to Troubleshooting > Event Log >category WAN from dropdown and the help desk if you took one at the time of attempting to connect.
Dan.

The Hub One is finally up and running!
Manually entering the Broadband login and password finally kicked the second router into touch. Still can't get the first Hub One to connect, so I take it this is down to a combination of the first Hub One being duff and the second failing to initiate automatically.
My thanks to all who dipped in with suggestions and advice.

@DortonDoug - does the serial number of the working hub end '603'?
What is odd is that I can't see any record of the hub on the management platform, even though it is successfully online.
Are you able to share the firmware version it's running (should be shown in the footer of the hub manager at http://192.168.1.254)?
I'd also be keen to know what the Event log entries show if you filter by TR069/CWMP entries (Advanced Settings > Technical > Event Log)?

@bobpullen It had the Hub Oneworking earlier today. Currently back on the 2704N as I will need to reconfigure a network extender before the Hub One can go live. I will post once all is up and running.

Good news - I have had the Hub One up and running for a few days, with no issues.
In case @bobpullen still wishes to check, yes the s/n ends '603'.
I will get the faulty hub shipped back, along with the unused set of cables, power supply, etc.
My thanks once again to all who helped out.

Glad to hear.
Yes, I'm still keen to know what the firmware version is and what the TR069 logs are reporting.
I have a feeling I know what caused the automatic configuration failure but it would be good to confirm.

Hi @bobpullen
Apologies, I was away last week.
Footer shows as "Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.289.1.3 | Last updated Unknown".
Copy of the first couple of pages of the TR069 log attached.

Thanks @DortonDoug, I never got back to you.
I think the issue that prevented automatic configuration is now resolved.
I imagine the TR069 log will look healthier now.
