OpenReach engineers (a few of them) always blame the Hub/router - saves them having to do much. What lights are what colour?

@KatieGrace95 is the light solid orange ?
If so then call Plusnet back and tell them what the engineer said.
As @jab1 says , its likely not the router , its probably a network issue but the normal procedure will be for Plusnet to send out a new router just in case. When that doesnt work , they'll get Openreach out again...
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

So, you have solid orange on LED1 and LED2 - is that correct? What does it say on your screen if you select this page from your Hubs display:

Is the 'b' light solid or flashing
flashing means there is no broadband signal
solid means the broadband username and password pair are wrong.
