Options for Google Nest Wifi

Hi all,

Current Plusnet FTTC customer.

Recently picked up 2x Google Nest Wifi Routers to use in a mesh network to replace an old BT Smart Hub which is several years old and struggling to cope with the many wifi devices around the house.

My question is, what are the cheapest (and easiest to set up) modem options you would suggest to use in conjunction?

I see a lot of threads about using a Plusnet Hub 2 in bridging mode? Is that a good shout, or there any better options?

I've also read about Double NAT and VLAN issues, that I'd like to avoid. Does using the Hub 2 in bridging mode avoid these issues?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Options for Google Nest Wifi

The Hub 2 in bridge mode is the cheapest way.

It will avoid double NAT and vlan issues.
