PN Hub 2 name both 2.4 and 5 GHZ

Hi,

I have a wireless smart device which uses 2.4 ghz and requires that the router needs to have a different ssid name for each band.

I've looked at the admin panel for the hub 2 router and it looks like it's only possible to have a single ssid name.

Is this true - or is there a way to get round this?

Many thanks.

@stan4th What is this device? If it won't connect, try temporarily disabling the 5Ghz band on the Hub, connecting it and then re-enabling the 5Ghz.

Re: PN Hub 2 name both 2.4 and 5 GHZ

If a device can only connect on the 2.4GHz band then it will not see the 5GHz band, so that’s not the issue here.

What is more likely is that this is an old 2.4GHz device possibly needing (a) mode (rather than b or n). You might find changing the mode if the 2.4GHz band helpful.
