Recycle Old Router

Hi there,

I just upgraded my router and want to return my old Plusnet router for recycling. Any support would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Re: Recycle Old Router

As Adam said that is good of you.

Personally, if the old one still worked then it may be worth keeping it as a spare. I've had an old router die on me once, but it wasn't obvious. If it happens to your new one, then at least you can swap it back and it will get you out of trouble for a while.

Re: Recycle Old Router

I totally agree with you, keeping your old router is always a good decision. Whenever you will use your old one, keep in mind that you need to update the firmware to the latest version. You can also use your old router as a range extender too.
