Replacing Hub 2 router

Hi

I've recently update to Plusnet full fibre, which supplied a wall mounted modem Nokia ONT G-101G-R, and a Hub 2 router.

I find the router features fairly basic and planning to purchase an alternative router. Although I'm not sure if there a certain types of routers that will be compatible with the modem? What kind of router should I be looking for?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Replacing Hub 2 router

@nomad101 you need what's generally known as a cable or wireless router i.e it has an RJ45 (ethernet) WAN port.

It must support a PPPoE type internet connection.

I find the router features fairly basic and planning to purchase an alternative router.

Can I ask what other features you require ? and then people may be able to make recommendations
