Hi. 1st post.
Bought a JVC Roku. Recognises Wifi but not internet. Tried rebooting tv and router, connecting with ethernet, putting tv next to router and finding "secret screen" on TV. All to no avail. TV recognises a tethered signal from my phone, so I know TV is OK.
Any help greatly appreciated
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Sorry if you have done this already - have you tried googling for "JVC Roku not connecting to internet"
it could be the TV and not the router - but worth checking .. I saw this link
It looks like the TV supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz connections so it ought to connect ok?
