Fix

@Barbaranunes Welcome to the forums. When you say the router is blocking it, what do you mean? What message do you get to tell you it is the router blocking it? Can you post a link so others can try?

Re: Router Blocking a website

Hi John,

when i  go to troubleshooting and look at events log. it shows me.

So I did not put it correctly. is not the router but my plusnet is blocking it.

I have put the screenshot for the event log.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Router Blocking a website

The message in the log you posted isn't to do with Plusnet blocking you visiting a website, it is blocking someone in South Africa from accessing the administrator interface of your router. Which is probably a good thing to do.

Re: Router Blocking a website

Hi Barbara. That snip from your router log shows that it is blocking an incoming packet from an untrusted source - which is entirely what the ROUTER FIREWALL is supposed to do.

Have you previously been able to access the site?

As I asked before, can you actually post the website address, just so I or others can check it?

Thanks for that, @corringham - I was just about to go looking at that IP to check.

Re: Router Blocking a website

But this is what happens when I try to upload the website that I need to.

the website is genuine because is for work and we are partners and other colleagues use it without any issues.

Re: Router Blocking a website

Other than the log message, what else happens when you attempt to access the kcom.com? Does the browser give any message?

Re: Router Blocking a website

That sounds to me like a routing problem, but @corringham probably knows more about that than me. Has your router rebooted recently, and as I asked previously, have you been able to access it in the past?

Re: Router Blocking a website

if you put https://87.102.50.139 instead of https://www.kcom.com does it work? (If you get a warning about a certificate, that shows it is actually working)

Re: Router Blocking a website

Tried their IP address and it does the same.
