Hi, I'd be very grateful for some advice, please. I have fibre to cabinet (not home) broadband and a Plusnet Hub One router. Some years ago I created a mesh system by plugging a Tenda Nova into the router and placing another two around the house. That worked OK until the Tenda nodes, I think, stopped working intermittently. I think that I need to upgrade my mesh.
If I am understanding correctly what I read, I could get a three node system where one would replace the Plusnet Hub One router. Is that correct and what should I look for, please? There is no reason to think that fibre to home is on the horizon where I live.
Many thanks,
Peter

@pluscomm1 Welcome to the Community forum.
Not quite. FTTC requires a modem between the router function, which can be built in to the primary mesh unit and the Openreach socket. The Hub One is a combined modem and router. So you need to also have a modem.
If you have recently recontracted or your contract is coming up for renewal then ring the Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 and ask for a Hub 2, which can be configured as a bridge modem. Alternatively you have to either buy a modem or, to avoid double NATing, configure the mesh units in Access Point mode.

Many thanks. A very low cost Hub 2 is on its way to me.
