Some devices having trouble staying connected to WiFi

Hi guys,

I have the Plusnet Hub Two. FTTP broadband. Some of my devices are struggling to stay connected. I know it's not the internet connection itself, because the blue light stays on and my other devices work fine.

I'm wondering if someone can split the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for me, because I have a feeling that might be the issue.

I saw a staff member say that they can do it from their side.

The bands can't be split on a hub2, that post was referring to an older router.
You try turning off the 5GHz band for a bit to see if that improves things. Might help to narrow down the issue.

Doing that has helped, but I still want to use 5GHz. Disappointed I can’t split the bands.

You could acquire a cheap 2.4GHz extender and have that running on its own SSID as a 2.4GHz only network. Alternatively, do you have an old router that is either 2.4GHz only or does have the ability to separate the SSID's? If so, it can probably be repurposed to do a similar thing with a spot of reconfiguration.
