Unable to reboot

After Plusnet went down yesterday I have been unable to reboot the router. After a call to Plusnet help and talking to a guy who did his best to help it was suggested that the router had lost the password. This is complicated by the fact I use a BT.business hub router. That is refusing to accept the password on the back of the router I am not aware of it being reset but it may have been.
Have done a factory reset and have seen a suggestion that this should have reset the password back to the original but has had no effect. Any suggestions of how I can overcome this.

@noguru481

I think that you have got your passwords mixed up. Having done a factory reset you now need to start again from scratch.

FIIRST UNPLUG THE DSL CABLE. You then need to use the admin password on the back of the hub to log in to the hub. You then need to enter your Plusnet log in details, save and replace the dsl cable.

You will find full details pinned at the top of the board.
