No, that was a non starter. I am using ethernet and powerline adapters to connect the routers. Other devices on the network are working wirelessly. The androids are fine. Two Windows based laptops are not connecting to the internet. Weird. Still trying but not still smiling.!!!!

Is the laptop set to a static IP address, best to let it assign the IP address automatically (dynamic IP).

Hopefully you can spot something in here that is wrong. We have a second laptop which is behaving exactly the same. That's why I think this is a Windows thing (one is on 10 and one is on 7).

AFAIK you can not assign your own DNS server in the PN's Hub One router.
So why are both results showing you using Opendns? Is that assigned in the laptop?
Are you sure the technicolor router is now assigned the IP 192.168.1.1
Also ensure no other device on your network is using that IP.
IF you put that IP (192.168.1.1) in your browser do you get the Technicolor GUI's?

I haven't changed anything in the Hub 1 - only looked at the IP address and security settings - as per instructions. I have accessed the TG using 192.168.1.1. but I had problems. I checked the ethernet LAN2 port details and there was no IP address. I had a message saying 'no valid IP configuration'. I put 192.168.1.1 in for the LAN2 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway the same as the IP. then I found I was able to access the router when I put that IP address in the browser. I only did this on one laptop the other I have not even accessed.
Other IPs are
Laptop 1 = 192.168.1.69
Laptop 2 = 192.168.1.66
Printer = 192.168.1.67
Android 10" - 192.168.1.64
Galaxy S6 = 192.168.1.65

Also, I didn't touch any DNS settings because nNon of the instructions I've seen mentioned DNS. Does 'open' mean there are no digits in boxes? What should I do about that?

I have tried accessing the TG on a different laptop this morning and I get nowhere with 192.168.1.1. It just says can't be reached. I have got to the gui using that in the past so don't know what's happened. Should I reset it again?
