The new firmware does seem to have resolved the issue. It's been running now for 4 days without any issues, no restarts required., etc. My connection via the sync'd wifi bands also seems to be much quicker than before.
It is hard to judge performance, but things like my phone app that controls my smart lighting is now for instantanious (for all intents and purposes), whereas before there was always a delay of a few seconds. I'd previously put this lag down to the app/lighting system, but i now realise that the cause of the delay was actually the wifi.
In retrospect, I'm very dissapponted to now realise that my connection performance has been so poor this past year due to essentially very poor hub sofware/hardware. Nevertheless, I appreciate that you have now been able to substantially improve this. Thank you Rob, for your efforts to correct these problems for myself and the many other users with the same issue. I can see that you've been working all hours to support and respond to us. Very much appreciated...
