I only just noticed all the replies to this.

 

I have a BT Openreach modem + Asus RT-AC68U.

 

I actually ended up paying the postage cost for the Hub Two because the last (long since discontinued) BT Openreach modem failed a few months ago and only managed to get it replaced the Openreach engineer had one in his van.

It seemed like a good idea to have the all-in-one Hub Two as a backup in case disaster strikes again.

It is a good idea, @denguv . The Hub2 can be operated in bridge/modem only mode should the BT kit fail.

The Openreach modems haven't been supplied by Openreach for quite some time.  I'd imagine you were very lucky that the engineer happened to have one.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
