I've just had an online message from AVG (my anti-virus provider) stating that my plusnet Hub One router is accessible from the internet and vulnerable to attacks. It tells me to close the open port in this Router's admin settings. The open port = 4567.
I note this is the same topic that frank1847 posed only yesterday – but no useful info has resulted from that. Is the more modern plusnet router safer? Or should I be thinking of quitting plusnet and going with another provider and router?
I did contact plusnet directly – and they said they had no idea (??!) and I should look for an answer on this Forum...
Thanks in anticipation for any ideas.

@dice620 I would treat AVG/Avast 'security warnings' with extreme caution - when I was using Avast on my Windows machine - 5 or 6 years ago, it kept on telling me Libre Office was a security threat.
Port 4567 can safely be left 'open' - it is used by TR069/CWMP to allow Plusnet to push updates to the Hub.

Port 4567 is the TR069 port used for firmware update and is ONLY open to the Plusnet management server
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks for confirming the port number
As mentioned this could be a false positive, use this site https://www.canyouseeme.org/ to see if this port is actually open, however port 4567 is used by TR069 which is used by plusnet to manage their Hubs.
The previous post on this issue suggested money was being spent on his bank account, which was a worry.

Many thanks for all the helpful comments and suggestions, it seems that AVG has been over-reacting, and I shall pass on this information to them. (I still find it odd that plusnet couldn't tell me this when I phoned their support service, but never mind.)
All the best.

@dice620 Plusnet Support is for Plusnet services, not third-party programs.
