Re: 136185240 - no response after 3+ days

impact or not, @HarryB said the problem had been fixed, which apparently it hasn't.
the minute i get pumped on that gateway the packet loss re-appears.

the "problem" is only apparently on this particular gateway.

also, why would DLM be applied on a line that apparently has no faults and it working fine (according to the response on the fault ticket).

Re: 136185240 - no response after 3+ days

another PPP drop (to fix the interleaving i suspect?), and my upstream has returned to 1220Kbps.
my downstream has jumped up to 19664Kbps ( this is a new record high, it's usually around the 1600-1700Kbps range).

gateway has changed to pcl-bng01 and as expected the packet loss has disappeared.
you clearly have an issue with that other gateway.

Re: 136185240 - no response after 3+ days

@Chris was todays PPP drop due to the interleaving being removed?
and can you see that the packet loss has disappeared again after a gateway change.

It was highly likely that the PPP drop was interleaving being removed. Yes, I can see that there is now no packet loss.

Re: 136185240 - no response after 3+ days

and can you see that there is packet loss whenever the other gateway is used.
and that the "fix" @HarryB suggested earlier in the thread has obviously not made any difference?

I can see a very low level of packet loss, yes. I've flagged that up but I'm glad that it wasn't causing you any impact.

Re: 136185240 - no response after 3+ days

my minimum latency is still a little high i would have thought?
it's a smidge under 40ms, when previously before packet loss issues and various "tinkering" by PN it was around 20ms.

is this due to something that was done at your end?Huh

Re: 136185240 - no response after 3+ days

Not that I'm aware of, the minimum latency can change on a disconnection as the traffic may route in a different manner.

Re: 136185240 - no response after 3+ days

it jumped from 20 to 40 when someone at PN tinkered with the account/connection to try and fix the packet loss issue. this was before it was deemed only to be a problem when connected to 1 specific gateway.
