Yes, I agree with @jab1 .

However, as you have no real idea what the Plusnet offers will be on 1 April, and considering that they may well increase their base prices to take on board the 9.3% increase or thereabouts, it might still be worth taking the new contract out before then if you can get a really good price.  Note that the last time the prices increased, the call plan that i am on increase from £9.00 to £9.41 and that is exactly what it is currently priced at if you took it out today, hence my thoughts about where offer prices might increase to in April.

It looks as if the Uswitch article was written when many customers would still have been in fixed price contracts which Plusnet stopped offering some time ago.
