Just the same thing happened a few years back when the prices went up a couple of quid.
Apparently plusnet emailed us all.... well to be fair them they did... but when the missus found the email it had been discarded (as i would have done with it) because the top of it started off as one large advert - AKA SPAM!
What happens with spam? - you click delete. Someone somewhere at PN obviously knew this and probably made the company a nice little earner doing that. I suspect even now there will still be people paying the higher price without ever knowing what happened.

And look what we get from the rep "others are similar".
Once upon a time plusnet was different and stood out from the crowd. Now they're all part of the same sorry crowd.
They probably all even use the same bunch of miserable manipulators to write up their ads.
I still think it's a shame its ended up like this. Even though when I see their telly ad I think their comic frontman is laughing at plusnet customers and not with them.

Perhaps someone giving us an official plusnet reply rather than a personal POV would be nice. As I mentioned, we never knew of this cap... bit unfair really.
I can upload faster on the mobile so i'm not that bothered but for things like IP cams, my (small) website etc, it might be a mild annoyance.

I think you know very well that we are talking about the information being on the front main ad pages instead of being hidden on back "small print" pages.

I personally would like to see ISP`s showing an advert in normal text no small print, the following info as i feel its most important when shopping for deals.
Price
Length of contract
unlimited usage
upload speeds
download speeds
Im sure theres room in the pink bubble for upto 76 down & 2 up

Typical sort of reply I would expect from someone at plusnet. I state clearly we were switched to fibre over the phone and plusnet rep replies pointing out the website that we were not seeing at the time of the phone call nor informed of verbally.
I think you need to make a swift apology Harry because shoving that in my face is extremely offensive and just goes to show you've either not taken on board what I previously said or you don't give a damn..
