but if my line gets cut off before court intervention I will claim for costs as I'm a pipex customer not talktalk so i can cancell any talktalk new upgrade and unwarrented new line
i'm told lies now so its hard to know where I really am
talktalk are ignoring my correspondence , any further correspondence from talktalk will be sent to the court at the time
guys at talktalk tracking refuse to give out their name or offer me correct details
I now know I can longer deal with talktalk hence
the now county court route

We would like to inform you that the type of broadband service we provide does not need a MAC as the phone exchange that supplies your landline to your registered address uses a different technology which means that your broadband, calls and line rental are supplied as an inclusive package on our Pipex network. The benefit of this all-inclusive package is that you have been able to enjoy our best priced packages.
If you wish us to place an immediate cease on your Pipex package or any part of it, this will automatically cancel your entire Pipex account. This includes losing your phone service, which means you will be unable to make calls from your telephone including 999 emergency calls. You may contact BT and request for a 'Return to Donor.' If you request for it, BT will transfer your telephone and broadband services back to them. You would, therefore, keep your line and number by rejoining BT.
If your new broadband provider has requested for a MAC to transfer your broadband, please tell them you are currently on a MPF product and they will advise you accordingly how to set up their service.
Once your services with your new provider have gone line, please contact our Cancellations Team to ensure that your account with us is already cancelled to guarantee that no further charges will continually be applied on your Pipex account.
If you have further questions, please feel free to reply to this e-mail or contact our Customer Care Team on the number provided below.
another thread
In relation to your email, after reviewing the notes regarding this issue. We are sorry to hear that you wish to change broadband supplier and hope that you have been happy with our service. However, please note that the type of broadband service we supply you with (known as LLU broadband) is not compatible with migration.
This means that MACs (migration codes) are not used to transfer the service to or away from Pipex.
If you wish to end our service you can do this by requesting that we cease your line, which will mean that your telephone and broadband services are disconnected. I must confirm that as per our record, you have requested cancellation of our service on 31.5.2010 and you were advised of the cancellation process.
I hope this is a satisfactory explanation, and I do apologise for the delay in responding to your query. Pipex does take these issues seriously, and it is always our intention to bring the concerns of our customers to a satisfactory conclusion.

but now talktalk are trying to take over my phone line after me cancelling directly wth them their upgrade and new phone line
deal
will have to goto court they are preventing me now, from moving completly away
by saying we have cancelled talktalk's deal but then saying its their auto process that refuses(well thats their description of it ) to cancel
all though lawfully i have the right
the idea then is just stay with pipex until pipex switches me to Plusnet

PN used to supply some customers via Tiscali LLU, but that stopped about four years ago. Dont think any PN customers are now LLU
You can keep your phone number when you transfer to PN. Mand might pick it up early, but probably not until Monday, Unfortunately she is a Sheffield Football supporter - nuf said at this time of this year

at present talktalk wont reply as I've been informed every day for two weeks i've cancelled the talktalk takeover
but at the same time Im informed that I've not been cancelled , due to a robotic process tha wont allow the cancellation and that no matter what i ring up and say it will install a new phone line and activate what is already active change my telephone number
and do it all while court action to prevent it has been initiated
nice talking to you

Your order has not yet been placed as we were waiting for your Direct Debit to go live, this is now active so I've returned your ticket to our provisioning team to get things going.
You're already on a full LLU service, but we can transfer this for you, and retain your number. We'll get things moving on that today.

thanks
some additional information for you
I'm presently still with Pipex (via legacy toucan), but could get cut off ?, I'm doing my best to hold talktalk off from taking over
the line and internet ,with the assistance of issuing county court papers against talktalk within 30 days for refusing to make a cancellation on an upgrade of these services
Pipex own the line and my internet servces at present (today) but that could change if talktalk try to take the line over even after beginning to initiate court papers for refusing to cancel their services
they say they have already cancelled , then that they are cancelling, then within 30 days, But because I've spent a tiny fortune contacting them
I have told them i will not do so personally any longer , and that I have applied to have papers issued to enforce cancellation , and to collect my costs , past, present and in the future

Pipex tagged my line to prevent taktalk taking over
talktalk tries / or is trying to install a new line/
with a new number to bypass pipex
but I'm trying to prevent it been doing so for 12 days
hence the need to take court action due to talktalk refusing to stop
todays update from talktalk they are cancelling but for nearly 3 weeks off expensive phone contact
I'm told it is cancelled
they want me me contact them again and to continue on the roadd of this saga
I have refused and notfied them today I will begin to ininiate court papers on them for their continuing refusals to cancel an ugrade
while assuring that it is indeed already cancelled
I'm not concerned any more done all I can I wil pay the county court to deal with talktalk

Quote from: magnetism2772 the underhand thing is
Pipex tagged my line to prevent taktalk taking over
talktalk tries / or is trying to install a new line/
with a new number to bypass pipex
Historically Tiscali bought Pipex in Sept 2007 and now TalkTalk own Tiscali and have totally dropped the Tiscali name.
Don't know what the person who gave you the quoted info was on but must be good stuff
