I've noticed a lot of internet dropping again this last week. Internet drops (no loss of sync) and then eventually returns, sometimes I have to disconnect and re-establish the session in which case it comes back straight away. Usually see this at weekends when I think more people are online but almost a daily issue, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day this week. Anyone else experiencing issues?
Currently connected to plc-ag03 (Birmingham area).

Not this week (so far); but have noticed similar behaviour over past few months, whereby after a long(ish) stable period a sudden rash of disconnect/reconnects, with no loss of DSL signal, followed by a resync at a ridiculously high SNR and correspondingly low sync rate. A router reboot then invariably brings "normality" back. That pattern has happend two or three times recently. Uptime currently is 16 days at a relatively high (for us) 3.9/1.0Mbps

ppp session dropped at 16:15 today without the modem losing sync. I suffer a fair few drops - one or two daily but normally the sync goes due to REIN so I might not notice a few ppp drops inbetween the others.

Hi there,
I've posted a graph of your recent connectivity below.

There are a few drops on there but nothing of too much concern. When you lose connection is it definately the PPP session that drops and not a wireless connection?

I've had quite a lot of dropped sessions, although my problem is due to REIN. Last night I struggled to do anything with losing ppp connections and web pages not opening

I'm not 100% sure how I would tell if I is wi-fi or PPP session dropping. When it goes we all lose it, usually 1 laptop, 2 iPads connected through wi-fi. We are all in the same room as a rule and literally a few feet away from the router. We all show max/strong signal strength when it drops and although frequently if we leave it long enough it returns but if we disconnect and re-establish the PPP session it connects straightaway.
I could try the wife's laptop as a wired connection to try an establish if it is wi-fi related. We had this problem a lot for years with our old Belkin router and tried wired connections then and it still did the same. When we had the Technicolor router off you it seemed to rectify the problem straight away. Now it is occasional i.e. we can go a couple of weeks without dropping but then when it starts it seems to happen quite frequently, more often at weekends.

It would be good to know if it still works via the ethernet connection as we can then establish the cause.
