Did the engineer ring the right doorbell, did he really turn up? We've heard stories before where they claim they turned up but because another job has over-run or whatever, they don't actually. Could anyone else have seen him at all to confirm?.
Day ELEVEN. It finally got fixed this morning. For the record, some electrician apparently rewired the lines of the building and did not know where to connect mine! My thanks to all who offered their help in this forum...
