Are Plusnet Planinng to change its FUP/Download limits from April?

BT retail from April are :
Mayuresh Thavapalan
"As BT continues to invest in the network and network bandwidth we can now remove these restrictions and ensure the experience of the wider customer base. On completion there will be no individual user controls targeted at atypical users on our BT Total Broadband and BT Infinity products."

Unlikely, as BT are no doubt still charging ISPs based on the amount of data that is transmitted across their back-haul as well as for the connection.
Once that stops we'll see the end to usage limits.

Whilst you're likely to see the usual spring-time product refresh around that time, it's unlikely that there will be any significant changes made to our legacy product base.

It means a product refresh, so no doubt the entire lineup will be looked at.

It would seem that BT are now running the same or similar traffic mangement as previously offered by the PN Unlimited account, maybe PN are bringing back that product which make sense once the YouView boxes are out next year.

Due to afore mentioned reasons as to how BT Wholesale sell their products as a supplier I can't see that happening. The best advice we can give is to hold fire and watch this space for when we're able to tell you about the new products.

Moving this on a bit how is Skype traffic mangened on your network? is VOIP or peer to peer? I have noticed at night about 7-9pm calls are lot worse with higher delay than in day time, my ping time on the speed testers is the same.
