The disconnection charges have been in contracts for as long as ADSL has been offered.

Who cares about promo. Simply move around every time a new deal appear after contract ends SIMPLE. Nothing stopping anyone doing that.
Mind you Talk Talk is cheaper with no promo so that one... Even though they get bad reviews I know people with them with no problems round here about 6 of them..
I could move to BT take advantage of savings if it goes up BT may drop it if not move again we all do this if needed.  But there are companies out there who are Willing to keep there customers IE car insurance and energy companies in which mine has...

Yes, some companies don't take it into account. But we are charged less wholesale cost in some market areas so can pass that discount on to customers, unfortunately you're not in one of these areas so the offer we've given you is the best we can provide.

You work for plusnet of course you be on their sides.  If you didnt you be on ours of course you wont admit it...

I would take your fight up with Ofcom. They have set the BT Wholesale market pricing for ISPs.
TalkTalk, I thought they would not be able to offer you their service seeing as you're not on a LLU exchange?
If you want to save some money, you can pay your line rental in advance. This would save you a few pounds a month I think.

Taking into account I really didnt want to post on here but I am going to anyone as I dont care if I get and stick from anyone..

I am hard of hearing and internet is my way of getting in touch with friends and families via Face Time and Skype etc...  I dont RING anyone up as I cant hear on the phone only VERY RARE i use the line for a call via Type Talk.  So the evening and weekend line rental is not a huge advantage  for me at all.  
That why i would of though we get a cheaper deal to compensate but that LIFE that why i never say this things but this how I feel sometime.
