BT thwarted - I'm glad to say...

A fairly competent sales girl from BT tried to pitch me their package yesterday but was thwarted when I pointed out that I really did need the 60 Gig download ceiling.
But what has prompted my to post is her clear statement that BT now owned Plusnet.  I challenged this but she remained adamant.  She had no answer to my question 'If you own my ISP why are you trying to switch me ?'
Amazing !
