Broadband speed

What should I do when neighbours on either side both get in excess of 20mbs and I only get 10mbs if I am lucky! Plusnet say I get within the contracted speed, end of story.

Also advise which Plusnet product you are on, ADSL or Fibre.

Tel is [Removed] and I am on ‘fibre’.

Hiya @Michael56, thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry that you are seeing speeds lower than your neighbours.

 

I have tested your line and this hasn't highlighted any issues, we are seeing a stable connection and a sync speed of 14mb. Whilst you are towards the lower end of your estimates, you are above your minimum guaranteed.

 

If not already, I would advise to connect to your property's test socket for a couple of days, just to see if that makes any improvement. You can find further help on this here: https://community.plus.net/t5/Library/Testing-From-The-Master-Socket/ba-p/1322242
