Calls from 00114 307 0124

Had a call from 00114 307 0124 (not 0114 307 0124), claiming to be Plusnet. Was the genuine? The 00114 threw me bit

That will have been ourselves. It seems that you're out of contract at the moment, so it'll have been a part of an outbound campaign.

Just a heads up that if you didn't appreciate the call, you can opt out of them on the Member's Centre.

Was the number displayed that way on a caller display or read back that way when dialling 1471? A colleague has advised that they've seen it in the past where caller display adds an extra zero at the start of the number in error.

The double zero was on both caller display and 1471

With been with Plusnet for 8 years and this is the first time we have ever had a call like this which made it seem odd.
