Hi Vulpine,
Sorry this has been so difficult to deal with. I'm going to respond to your complaint ticket shortly and hopefully we'll be able to resolve this for you.

@Chris
Has any one listened to the initial phone call? This is where the problems started, see reply #9

Mark, draft and write/print the letter and when your brother is having on of his better moments, get him to sign it.

That's not as easy as it might seem:

I don't need all these problems as it causing me too much stress, my brother is in no fit state to call, be called or sign any letters. I am not in any fit state to drive all the way down to Brighton from Oxfordshire for a signature and my brother has no friends to help and can't leave the house to get everything for a letter and can't even afford to eat, let alone get [Censored] like paper, envelopes and stamps, so No he can't send a letter.

I suspect you forget that the assumption you made was based on an earlier comment by vulpine, and if vulpine thinks his brother in one of his better moments would be capable of making a call on skype, I think he is also capable of deciding whether in such a better moment he was capable of signing a pre-drafted and printed letter, rather than perhaps thinking at the outset he'd have to write it himself.

Re: Can't cancel account due to moron in support!!!!

Finally a sensible response. Looks like someone more senior has taken a look at my case and has decided to take a sensible approach to the problem (see below) because of this I can finally close this post. I hope it helps others and that PlusNet takes a closer look at the processes involved for people with disabilities and or mental disorders.
Thank you to all that helped me.

Dear Mr Wallis, I've taken a look over the account, and the contacts you've made with our support centre with regards to cancelling this service. I'm sorry that it's been so complicated. After speaking to my colleagues here, we're going to schedule the cancellation on this account for the requested date of the 24th November. There is a refund of £1.73 due to you for the pro-rata period that you'd already paid for. Once again I'm sorry that this was more complicated than usual, however we have to be cautious when cancelling accounts to ensure we're acting in line with the customers requests. Kind regards, Chris Parr
