Cri Ignatti (Tina11192), Josh Sharpe (Marsh), Joe Elliot (Windings), Lex Keehner (LexLex2020), Lee Brannan (lahbrannan1)

For completeness, here are the two I missed (neither having posted a reply for over a week ) -

Sometimes the spam filter is over zealous ... the mods know more about that!

The Spam Filter is regularly checked and any posts there, even if duplicated in the original thread, are released with the duplicates being removed.

  • Another post I lost was in a topic, where the entire topic vanished.

As likely as not, that would be the ever diligent mods moving topics to the right board.  It seems to be a characteristic of the product platform ...

If that was the case, wouldn't you still be able to find what you (or the OP) posted by looking in the relevant user profile in the section "Latest Posts by xxx" ?.

Also typically if your post included an uploaded image, usually you can go to your profile, find "My Images", locate the picture and clicking on that takes you back to where it was posted.  In this case of vanished topic, the images are still in "My Images",  but the associated link where it was posted is missing.

  • One post was showing for maybe 5 minutes - I then edited it for clarity, I viewed the update within the topic, later it had gone

So that post, got released from the SPAM filter 26 minutes ago, by Mav, having been quarantined since Saturday !

Re: Community Team

I said the filter is regularly checked not daily. We do this in our spare time and can't offer 24/7 cover.

Often editing a post, particularly if adding/editing links, invokes the Spam Filter. If anyone thinks this is the case then a Report to Mod or PM should get it released as soon as possible.

Aye, whilst others are sleeping … the mods are still working! Thumbs_Up

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

It was another pointless thread about the demised wholesale speedtester.
