Contacting Plusnet CSC

Just been reading the Plusnet newsletter.
In item 4, Plusnet CSC Telephone System, you're asking us to contact you on the non-geographical 0845 telephone number in preference to the 0114 number.
Anyone with prepaid minutes on a mobile phone will be able to dial the 0114 number free within their allowance whereas they would be charged if contacting you on the 0845 number as these numbers are not generally included in the allowance.  This could be an expensive change to make.

Re: Contacting Plusnet CSC

Hmm - I hope that not just because companies make revenue on 08x numbers.
EDIT: Ok - reading newsletter now and take the point about the IVR.

On a related note, the 'hold music' could do with rewording.
"Switch your home phone to PlusNet, and receive fault updates on your mobile".
I don't want to have a fault at all, mobile or otherwise, so maybe I should just stick with my existing provider?
