Re: Curiosity about speeds

We can only look at doing that sort of thing once a fault has been resolved, but that doesn't mean we won't. We just need to have resolved the issue first before we can judge what's due in terms of recompense.
With that in mind are you getting these speeds with the new router we sent you?

Re: Curiosity about speeds

OK, sorry things aren't up to scratch with your speeds but trying the new router is the next logical step in finding the cause of the problem. Let us know how you get on when it arrives.

Re: Curiosity about speeds

Have your router stats changed (bandwidth/sync or line speed, line attenuation and SN or noise margin)?

Re: Curiosity about speeds

The faults team are now aware that there's no improvement with the new router. I'll make sure they respond today with where we can take this next for you.

Re: Curiosity about speeds

Hi sixthprawn, it looks like that's now pretty much sorted? Please let us know if that's not the case.

Re: Curiosity about speeds

Well there will be a brief training period, I'll check on it tomorrow and see what it's settled at. What are your router stats showing at the moment?

Re: Curiosity about speeds

Probably worth resyncing around lunchtime to see if that improves I'd say, but yes those were the figures I was after. Does the SNR look reasonable (i.e. 6 or 9dB) or is it higher?
