Do Plusnet have a system for succession planning for critical support staff

The answer will be "Of course we do"

So why am I even mentioning it

The number of times difficult/critical/technical problems are sorted by Bob Pullen has been noted with gratitude and he is the last - or appears to be - of the old technical support group and I would like to suggest that the support staff on here be supplemented with someone who is being trained as a backup for Bob and who can also pick up the technically challenging problems if needed

Re: Do Plusnet have a system for succession planning for critical support staff

It's a very good question @Oldjim.  A number of 'challenging' technical questions do seem to be just 'left on the hook' unless Bob takes an interest. I'd guess there are others in the background, but perhaps they are a bit shy. Embarrassed

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
