C:\Users\John>nslookup t******s.co.uk 212.159.6.9
Server: cdns01.plus.net
Address: 212.159.6.9
*** cdns01.plus.net can't find t******s.co.uk: Server failed
I'd say you are going backwards at high speed!

Billing details for Free .uk domain *********.co.uk Changed:
Registration Invoiced changed from to 0.00
Hosting Invoiced changed from 25.00 to 0.00
Hosting Renewal Date changed from 2012-02-14 to 2024-02-14
Renewal choice changed from none to yes
I found these lines hidden away on a closed question, one of the 40 or so that my migration has so far raised.
Reading them it seems that as a result of their shoddy service, someone somewhere has seen fit to credit me with a free registration, and what looks like freee hosting until 2024! Of course in what I'm beginning to see is typical Plusnet fashion, no-one could be bothered to tell me this, they just slipped it onto a screen and passed it on. Even when it's good news, no-one can be bothered to actually talk to a customer unless they've served the 20 minute penance waiting on the phone.

I can only imagine the hordes of toiling techies, their little eyes all red from an entire night of blood sweat and tears.
When my daughter swithced on the PC this morning she said, "Shall I try Outlook Daddy, just for a laugh?" and as if by magic, we were reconnected to the World.
Yes, I HAVE E-MAIL!!!
Seriously though, thanks to whoever was responsible between 10 last night and this morning. Thanks to those who have tried to help throughout this process. I apologise if I've upset anyone in my rant, but now, maybe, I'll just get on with my life as normal.

So glad to hear this is sorted, what happened was a carry-over from what happened during the day. Once changes to our domain system had been made (which was the problem in the first place) we just needed DNS to update.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
