Re: Enough is enough.....

Actually its "Local Loop Unbundling"
Basically, the copper link between Your house and the Exchange is the "Local Loop".
Unbundling the cable means, that someone else "controls" the terms of the line, rather than BT (due to being connected to someone elses' equipment)
You are all connected via a "Local Loop", Glloyd is correct.

Re: Enough is enough.....

*sigh*
Again you reply to a post without reading the thread properly.
LOCAL LOOP = COPPER BETWEEN YOU AND THE EXCHANGE
UNBUNDLING = EXCHANGE EQUIPMENT IS SEPERATE TO THE BT OR KIT.
so here we go...
"LLU IS WHERE AN ISP OR CP INSTALLS THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT IN THE LOCAL EXCHANGE. THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF LLU:
MPF
SMPF"
"Each LLU provider that has a presence in the local exchange will have its own Hand Over Distribution Frame which is located near to their MSAN. This fram may also be known as a High Density Frame (HDF) and is the demarcation point of the BT network."
"With the LLU the copper pair will enter the exchange as normal on the MDF. However, LLU Lines WILL HAVE THEIR OWN DESIGNATED PANEL BLOCKS ON THE MDF WHICH ARE ATTACHED TO THE HDF VIA A TIE CABLE CONTAINING 100 PAIRS."
Ive highlighted the important bits
Oh, and thanks for providing the reading material to prove the point.

When you were good you were very good (pre BT days) but the spark is no longer there
