Hi - DSL was activated yesterday and is working great (Still showing as "not active" in the member centre Connection Details section) Can we get the ball rolling on the fibre order now so we can get this whole thing done and dusted Smiley Thanks

Glad that's working for you, we'll be able to place an order for fibre on the 23rd, this will then give us an engineer date which is a minimum of 7 days wait.
I've set myself a reminder to get this placed first thing on the 23rd.

Hi,
I've just tried to place an order for your fibre service, unfortunately the availability date for you to to able to have fibre has changed, it's now showing 20th November. This may change to an earlier date if capacity becomes available but until it does there's no way that we can place an order.
I'm happy to check on this daily to see if it changes, If you pop your details in here you'll see the new given date Sad
I'll keep you up-to-date.

It's still showing the 20th November as your fibre enabled date, I'll keep you updated on this and if the date changes.

It looks like the 20th is going to be the date you're active, I was hoping it may have been enabled earlier.

I've just gone to place your order and the date has been pushed back to the 18th December Sad I've sent an email off to our suppliers to see what exactly is going on.

It's showing as available on the BT checker now  Smiley  Could you book me in ASAP please. - I'm available for an engineer visit any time next week apart from Wednesday afternoon (4th Dec)

Appointment due on the morning of the 5th December, between 8am and 1pm. We'll make sure to keep an eye on things for you.

Hi - BT checker is now saying no availability until 8th January 2014 !!!!
I know you wouldn't have been able to place an order for me last Wednesday without  their system showing availability but I can see no reason why, within in 3 days of a line card upgrade on my cabinet the checker is now showing no availability! How many ports on a line card?
I have the feeling that BT Openworld have screwed up again - I don't want to waste my time next Thursday waiting at home for an appointment
that doesn't happen - Could you chase this up for me and let me know if its OK or not.

Yes but if other people in your area have also upgraded to Fibre maybe all the available ports are full or it may even be due to with Christmas/New Year they do not have any available appointments for installs until 8th January.

Am I supposed to get an email acknowledgement when upgrading from ADSL2 to Unlimited Fibre?
I didn't get an email confirming the engineer appointment (just a message in the Help Assistant) and I have nothing in the "Order Tracker" about the upgrade.
Perhaps I'm being paranoid but could you please put my mind at ease and let me know that this installation is all set up and ready to go at the Plusnet end. - I still have some reservations on whether the Bt engineer will turn up this Thursday morning but I'm hoping for the best.

It's now 1.10 and the engineer didn't show up. Another day wasted!

Adam - I really don't understand what you are saying!
Mat placed the fibre order last Wednesday afternoon, This morning was the installation date given, Nobody arrived.
Ticket 77452069 has not been updated in any way today.
If you look back through the last few posts from this thread you'll see that I had my doubts about this latest installation attempt but I received no reply from you guys at all. - I don't think BT were ever booked in for today!
