After 15 years, leaving Plusnet for Zen. FTTP was activated in our street this week, and CS reps are still saying I’ll lose my static IP if I upgrade. Got to say, that in the 15 years as both a business and residential customer, I can count on one hand how many times there has been an issue.

Thanks to all the mods and staff in the forums, especially @Gandalf who went above and beyond whenever there were any issues

@Markuk Whoever told you will lose your static IP is wrong. You keep the same IP after an upgrade. Is that the only reason to leave Plusnet?

Yep,

That is incorrect information you were given I'm afraid, sorry about that, I did some investigating and passed on the feedback so they are aware that they were incorrect.

If you have not already moved and wish to stay, you will be able to retain your static IP.

There should be no issue with that at all.
