Feb 3rd Direct Debit error, now 2 payments due in one month. NO can do.

I received the follwoing email today, 10th March, regarding my Pn account. Its states that money will now not be taken until APRIL. So in April I will now have 2 Pn payments in one month. I'm happy to pay but now no mater when i pay I will have two payments in one month.
Why did it take PN over a month to notify me. I could easily have paid it last month. Now I'll be £20 less in this months budget.
A) Did anyone else get this letter tonight?
B) can we pay it over two months. while £20 is not much to some people at present it is alot to me to pay double in one month.

I'm sorry to tell you that unfortunately we haven't taken payment for your February subscription.
This was caused by a technical problem that has now been resolved.
If you check your bank statements for February you'll be able to confirm that your regular Direct Debit payment to Plusnet PLC has not been debited from your bank. Please do check your statement and if you believe this is not the case raise us a ticket at http://www.plus.net/go.html/dd_contact
If you take a look at the View Transactions link at http://my.plus.net you'll find that the invoice for February is incorrectly showing that payment has been taken.
What happens now?
