Not really, how would you know that I had reported it, the only person who would know is a Mod, it doesnt hurt doing repeated reports, it just brings it to the Mods vision earlier.
As I said, and I was checking, when I went out, there were three other people and Mat Taylor on, thats all

The original point is that a very offensive post remained on a public forum for 5 hours all be it in the middle of the night.
All I was suggesting (before this turned into an attack on me for being unreasonable) is that someone (mod or not) should be able to remove offensive language and material at source.

I get into my office at about 8:15am. I have a couple of small tasks to do while my PC is starting up, I then sit down and open Unread Posts.
When my PC was up I was advised by PN of the offending post by another means and removed it immediately.
Apologies if this was not soon enough

BTW No-one is ganging up on anyone......or they had better not be

One of the reasons that only the moderators will remove such posts is so that the boards remain impartial.  If Plusnet staff were to start removing posts, then it may be seen as censure and we would have more discussions on the boards from irate members.
Honestly though, I think an hour from being reported certainly isn't outside of a respectable response time (lets face it - it's faster than some tickets raised ;))
I would suggest that everyone goes outside and takes advantage of the beautiful weather out there!

Well I went out for a Swim at 8:30, tomorrow off to Baby sit my 94 year old mum while sister has a day off, Sunday going to try and find Some Nightingales, will definitely hear them, but might be to much leaf to see them
