Yesteday morning @ approx 9.30 am I phoned customer service and spoke to Julie.
I explained to her that I thought my Router had about had it as It keeps getting disconnected and it was getting very hot . She agreed and said she would send me a new one out , I should recieve it in about 3 days . well, I recieved it this morning just 24 hrs later and it's set up and running . The pages are now loading quickly and it's as solid as a rock . This is brilliant service . Thank you Julie very much for your help !!!
P.s with my voyager I left it on 24/7 as advised .
The Router that I have been sent this time is a Thomson speedtouch .
Should I leave it on 24/7 or should I turn it off overnight ?

Leave it on.
Routers are designed to be left switched on - but give it reasonable air circulation.

Thanks for your help, I will do that then.
I have noticed that this one does have more air slots than the Voyager

I turn my router off frequently overnight - I don't need it on at night so why bother.
It just consumes energy unnecessarily.
I have a good connection, and turning it off causes no problems at all.
