Re: Home Phone = No Phone

If I remember correctly this subject came up before some time ago and you can get  your calls diverted but you pay for the diverted calls. It aint free.

Re: Home Phone = No Phone

Hi,
Thanks for letting us know that your telephone service is now back up and running again.
Whilst I'm afraid I'm not sure what the cause of the problem was, it does sound rather like a wiring/configuration issue at the exchange.
I'm very sorry for any problems that this will have caused.

Re: Home Phone = No Phone

Received a telephone call from the engineer who said that the problem had been at the exchange and now rectified.  In the end it was simply a smallpiece of copper wire that had fallen and had become lodged between my line and another -, thus overloading my line with electricity.  Everything now working well.  Many thanks.
