How close should my speed be to Plus Nets Estimate

Unfortunately in this case yes. This is a precedent for us and something to look out for in the future. We fully understand that this may come as a disappointment to you.
With regards to your comments about payment for the speed of the service we do not charge you for a specific speed of service, our charges are the same whether an up to 8mb or and up to 20mb service is available to you.

I understand about charges Adam but you quoted me 15mb estimate which is why I moved from my current provider. If I knew I couldn't get any faster then why would I move when I was more than happy with the service I had been getting.
If I told you I would sell you a Porsche for £10k but when you gave me the cash I gave you a Ford Mondeo I assume you wouldn't be bothered. After all its a car that your paying for not the speed it might be able to go.

You wouldn't, we fully understand why you might be aggrieved by this, I'm just sorry that there isn't anything we're able to do about it for you.

Ok thanks for your honesty. Can you let me know when my free period is up., I should have 3 months free plus another month for the inconvenience I had to put up with. Then I will make a judgement call as to whether or not I am staying.

Read your comment about the cars. Hilarious.  Unfortunately they sold me a Porsche, and delivered me a space hopper ( with a slow puncture ) . 0.25 Mb.  Crazy [mremoved].

Slight confusion here Adam.. If I have 4 months free and I signed up In August but no service until September where do you get November from. I am wondering if this figure has been calculated the same as my speed and the fiasco of the update to 20mb on a exchange that doesn't support it even though twice PN told me it did.
In my calculations thats more like February....
