How long does it take to get ADSL2+ switched on....?

Hmmm. When I did the house move in October I was clearly told I would have been upgraded to ADSL2+ ASAP.

The mess which is the PN policy over which of the legacy accounts can be upgraded to ADSL2+ has been going on for far too long. Worst is that a lot of PN people don't seem to know what it is!

I can't comment on PN policy. All I know is I asked to be put on ADSL2+ and somewhere there was a problem so it didn't happen.

It would have been nice to get an honest answer from PN, like
"A mistake has been made and the wrong information was held. We have corrected this and have ordered the ADSL2+. We expect the work to be done in x days." instead of

Hi dratdestroyer,
Sorry about the lack of detail in the last reply. I think it was a combination of two things:
1) The temporary number and associated temporary BBEU (service ID) number, which is why I changed it, and
2) The fact that your account was marked as being on up to 20Mbit instead of up to 8Mbit when the original order was placed (the one you quote earlier in this thread).
I'm sorry about this, one of my missions for today is to stop this sort of confusion from happening.
The order will complete tomorrow.

I think we are nearly there. BT says 13000 and PN says 6500.
