I have phoned BT to double check everything is sorted.
My account now has a password on it, and can't be accessed by the call centre staff, due to the amount of cock ups they have made, they have to transfer me a 'frequent callers dept' which I take as an admission from BT that thier staff have caused all of my problems from day 1, as suspected, so I will most definately be pushing my complaints as far as possible.
Anyway BT have confirmed that the outstanding balance has been wiped, they have stopped the broadband billing, and the phoneline cease has been cancelled.
It looks like you guys really have done the trick!!

As per when I called when we got cut off.
I just needed to explain that the phone orders that were conflicting with your broadband order have been cleared down and the HLE team at BT are working to complete the broadband order overnight.
Once done I'll contact you to confirm how the service is from your point of view and transfer phone over.

Hi Adam, appologies for earlier, Devon is a bugger for phone signal, especially when your driving a truck!
I have just arrived home, to be told I have had no broadband since 10am.
I have checked everything my end, reset the router etc, and yup shes right, no dsl connection on my line.
It looks like the cancellation request has completed because my broadband has been cancelled... here we go again!
I maybe wrong of course.....

I have just telephoned the support line, and the lady said she didn't want to start any fault finding investigations, or start meddling due to the account history, which is perfectly understandable.
She said she has emailed yourself Adam so you can look into it in the morning, she also suggested it could be due to BT 'completing' the order tonight, which it could be I suppose.
Anyway thats how it stands, there is no DSL signal on the line, so I'm without service.

Well, its morning and surprise surprise I still have no service, prompting me to think that my broadband has definately been disconnected.
I'm getting so sick of this.

Hi Devonian,
Just replying so that you know I'm already on the case with this today. It's my top priority to get this sorted or as near to being sorted as I can before the day is out.
I'm extremely dissapointed to see that you are offline at the moment, especially as we did not expect such a thing to happen. Especially not at the stage where we were expecting the issue to be resolved completely.
I'm going to get my head down now, get the facts in and speak to our suppliers. I'll be in touch with you by phone afterwards.

We certainly do, also Mark has been a great help throughout.
I've already been chasing this up today and will get back to you when I have some news, I'm really hoping it's positive!
Quick question though that I'm not sure of at the moment, I know you can't get online but is the broadband light on the router on and the internet light off? Or are they both off?

Hi Chris, thanks for the quick reply.
Im restricted to checking the forum via my android, which is quite difficult as Im a trucker, and need to stop in a good signal area to do so, so appologies for being abit slow!
The internet light on the router is off, and the broadband light is flashing fast and green.
Im using the PlusNet supplied Thompson by the way.
