Have you tried:-
Making an ethernet connection to the router (no internet connection).
Testing to see if you can signon to it with the admin password & checking various settings?

I'll not be back in the office until after the bank holiday, so you might want to see if you can get in touch with support to arrange a replacement in the interim.
I'd suggest sending the current unit back to our offices in Sheffield, marking it for my attention (rather than using any pre-paid returns bag we might ship out).

I hadn't... but just for you foxy i connected via ethernet (though left the internet on).
No change - the fault persists. I can still sign on but it is that one part of the admin panel that still causes the router to get upset and reboot instantly.
I think I have narrowed something down though.. normally once its rebooted it continues to do so - rebooting multiple times. Now as soon as it rebooted on ethernet i pulled the plug.. and i noticed it did not reboot again. This leads me to think the repeated reboots is actually firefox continuing to request the url (chrome does this - makes multiple requests until it gets the url or gives up). I suspect that the browser has been repeating the request to that particular url in the router and this then causes the router to reboot again... but that is just a theory.
Either way ... considering the router normally asks for a password after rebooting there is still something screwy with the firmware as it should be asking for a password confirmation first before rebooting again. That said.. sometimes via wifi it has prompted for a password.. but by the time i've got it typed in and hit enter it's already rebooted (or perhaps reboots the moment the post request is made and it tries to call that link?).
@bobpullen do you guys have a freepost address at your office by any chance? (and thanks for getting involved with this one)

No freepost address I'm afraid, but I'll happily refund your postage costs.

Well I've not really bothered trying to use the admin panel again if in honest. WiFi wise it was OK yesterday evening and I think the one before but other than that I've been on my mobile. No idea what she had been doing for Internet.
As for the reboots I have a theory which I mentioned above. I could try a new firmware it you tell me how

Well I tried the admin cp earlier from my phone - internet disconnected, all other devices turned off. Same thing.. click that one link and the router reboots.
Admittedly it does seem a bit petty to send it back just because of that one problem... and it now looks as though it is a firefox / chrome issue re-requesting that url multiple times that was causing it to reboot.. and reboot... and reboot.
Is there a way to update the firmware please bob? - the BT url that is in the logs has a semicolon at the end and last time i tried it via http i got nothing at that domain - can't remember if it was a page not found or a dns failure but i don't see it updating itself.
Incidentally, while we're on the subject of it updating itself via BT... is that potentially what was screwing up the other router?

Well this is interesting...
Tonight I logged into the admin panel for the first time in months to find out why my port forwarding wasn't working.. sorted that (ish) and clicked on the home network thing looking for the dead link that caused trouble.
It only flaming works now
It didn't work and now it works luvly showing me all the connected devices. Not had any serious wifi issues lately either.
I have a suspicion @bobpullen that your chums over at BT may have had something to do with this.
The reason I suspect this is that in the port forwarding pages you used to be able to select a device by name, that now isn't possible and it just seems to show a mac address instead so somebody has been tinkering..

Only read as far as

Same here, I'm not the named account holder either - but when I called recently, tried to talk to them, they said they couldn't, I said what about if I had permission, put swmbo on to them, she confirmed blah blah blah, my name added too and now I call and sort stuff out. I've even had them call and ask for me by my name.
If I can be added, then surely you can too????

The last firmware update we pushed out to the Hub One was back in August '16.
The reason I suspect this is that in the port forwarding pages you used to be able to select a device by name...
Using a router here running the latest .216 firmware, I still can. It will be dependent on whether or not the device in question advertises a host name mind you.
Regardless, glad to hear it's no longer happening
