IRC Tech Support

Just a thought, why not start up an IRC support group, that way, people who don't like talking on a phone(there are a lot of them out there), but still like the reasurance of real time feedback to a question can get it without having to feel uncomfertable.  Just thought I would fling it out there and see what people think.  I'm reffering to along the lines of what you get if you request support from one.com (feel free to try it out, you don't need to have any of their packages or anything, you can just request support from them anyway although they don't give out answers on jeneral matters ;)).  Also, a general public room linked through the forum for us sad people who spend a lot of time on it to be able to converse with each other.
Like Bob Hoskins once famously said "It's good to talk"

Re: IRC Tech Support

Have you ventured in to http://usertools.plus.net/irc/ ? (not the same thing but I wondered if you knew it existed)

Re: IRC Tech Support

I should point out, for the benefit of anyone else, that Usertools IRC isn't an official support mechanism endorsed by Plusnet (being, as it is, part of Usertools) - it just so happens that a few members of staff do idle in the channel so can offer assistance if they're around.
