I've been waiting a month for my connection as a new customer having just moved. Apparently my fibre went live two weeks ago tomorrow, but it's never worked at all and still doesn't.
Does fibre installation go more smoothly if you go with BT directly? Are they better at liasing with Openreach? I've had to spend hours on the phone to Plusnet who apparently are in some sort of dispute over who pays for the problems with my connection - I'm presuming between Openreach and Plusnet. Promised updates never come.
Should I ditch their attempt at installation and go to the back of the queue with BT?
