Hi Jack, glad you've got DMT running, that'll do for some short term monitoring. You could lengthen the duration of the SNR plot to 2 hours - on the Misc.Options/Settings drop down menu where you unlock the experimental area and the Reboot button procedure, there's a box for SNR monitoring duration, select 2 hours. I wouldn't make it longer, the graphs become more difficult to read all the variations.
Why the BT reset isn't holding, who knows yet, that's what I hope we can discover sooner rather than later.

I was wondering about the time basis as it was set for 12 hours, as soon as it has run for it's 2 hours I'll post a screenshot, Jack.

Had Routerstats running all day and to me looks very stable, but who am I to say!, thanks, Jack.

The reason, by the way, that I had a specific interest in 2200-2230 was the small step change at ~2214, something pushing out noise went away, and also what caused the spike at ~2222?
Generally speaking, do the evening/night Noise Margin plots on RouterStats look any "smoother" since ALL the re-wiring was completed?
Going back to possible sources of interference, don't think I've asked - how many flats in your building?
Things like entrance/hall/landing lighting does this come on and go off at specific times or is some/all of it controlled by switches that occupants operate as & when?

I just looked at the results from Routerstat for yesterday (07.00>19.00) and the variance is from 8.8>9.3dB. if you like I can send you the log.
The graph is definitely smoother since the rewiring was completed.
There are 9 flats in the building and I have thought about automated switching and couldn't come up with anything that could be causing the problem, certainly nothing around 22.15.
I'll run DMT and Routerstats together today and see what happens, let's hope they are compatible. I have a background in electric/electronic fault finding which is why I'm careful about using too many systems at the same time, if there's any other information you require just ask, regards, Jack.

That 2222 dip could be a router polling thing, especially if there was a lot of traffic at the time. It's possible we may see some of those on DMT and RouterStats when they are running together, especially under heavy traffic, we'll have to wait and see, just keep an eye on things.

What I intend to do is at 2 hourly intervals take screenshots of both Routerstats and DMT and post. This way you can compare them and hopefully see any problems.
I seem to be encroaching on a lot of your time recently, if it gets too much just let me know, Jack.

Couple of things so far, I'm glad the RS and DMT seem to be running together without any obvious issues.
RS - can you change the SNRM scale, I'd suggest -1 to 15 rather than 25 so more detail is evident (see why in a mo). Also are you saving the DS sync plot - we don't need it posting unless there's a change in sync. In fact if it's stable through a period you could delete it rather than take up disc space, but as they are not big files something you could perhaps do every few days.
Observations so far ~1039,~1048,~1050. There seem to be a few "step" changes visible on the DMT plot (not so obvious on RS - hence the change scale). Then ~1623 & ~1654 spikes.
It looks as though 1039 something somewhere switched on, also at 1048 and then 1050 slightly more.
I use the expression "switched on" but this covers a number of things. I'm sure that you will be aware with your back ground that the rubbish chucked out by things like discharge lighting, TV sets, monitors plus a lot of other stuff with switched mode supplies, motors (fridges etc) and so on, can vary unpredictably - ie. with a discharge light a small change in the supply might cause the ionisation in the tube to change and what it's radiating may change, eg. with a TV set picture content alters the loading on the supply, this might trigger a slightly different behaviour. I hope you've got the drift (just realised the pun).
Now 1048 to 1050 that might be a "warm-up" time of something, it might just be something else coming on.
1623 could be a polling issue could just be an isolated spike, likewise 1654.
Obviously if you can associate any of the events with anything you did, anything elsewhere in the building, or just outside (did a streetlight come on - that sort of thing?) it'll all help build a picture.

Have changed the RS SNR range as suggested, the sync speed is a constant 6624 and hasn't changed for a few days now so not bothered to keep it.
The variance and randomness of the times you've noted suggest to me a fridge more than anything, if necessary I could turn off my fridge for a few hours but as there are 9 fridges in the building it may not tell us much. It's too early for street lighting as well.
The thing is that the line isn't dropping which I thought was the main thing that controlled the SNRM and my line before was rock steady, I've had no response on my ticket now since Monday and no comment from Plusnet on the forums for a while so I have no idea what is happenning on that side.
I'll send the next two screenshots now as it's nearly 19.00, Jack.
