Logging out of Portal Issue

Hi

Is there an issue with the portal as I get this message when logging out.

Hi @Strat,

I can't say I've seen this message pop up before myself I'm afraid. Has this only happened on one occasion and if not, does clearing your cookies and cache or using another browser result in you seeing the same message?

I've just had a problem with logging out as well, twice.  I'm not in a position to be clearing cookies and cache at the moment.  I logged into one account, logged out (and got this issue), logged into another account and then logged out of that one and got the message.  Everything looked to be logged out after, so I'm not sure what I haven't been logged out of.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Strat and @pjmarsh aren't the only ones to have experienced this. I had an occurrence late Friday night, but as closing the tab cleared my login, and it happened just before a Bank Holiday,I decided to leave until the next time I needed to access the Portal. I can confirm it is still happening.

It appears to be fixed, @JonoH, but it now sends me to the login page after 5 seconds, whereas previously I returned to:  https://www.plus.net/index_nlp.html, which I have as a link, almost instantly.

I see the same message as above, however I get logged back on to the Welcome page.

Me 2, I believe that's by design. I'm not sure why it makes you people wait 5 seconds now.

This feature means I can not log off without closing the brower.

Are yo usaying it auto logs you back in? can you clear your cache and cookies and try again please? I'm not able to replicate it.

Hi,

Yes I stay logged on.

I have fired up one of my Virtual system where I have never logged on the the portal and I see the same issue, in this case Chrome, also see the issue with Firefox on another system, both latest versions.

I have a free-online account and for many years I have never been able to log off cleanly see

This error has gone and been replaced by being logged back on

@JonoH

Is this issue being looked into as I must say it is very inconvenient to have to close the web browser down to fully log off. I see this issue with Edge and Firefox.
